NOTICE : Tokio Hotel may disappear on YouTube

The Copyright Society of Germany (GEMA) broke off negotiations to extend the license agreement of the video site YouTube, they said that YouTube will pay for music used in the videos that are uploaded to the Web site. A German organization that represents musicians and songwriters who wants to remove hundreds of YouTube videos are in a dispute about how the site should pay for the music you use in your site, in addition, many German artists and musicians have to say that Youtube remove from over 600 videos that are using "illegal." GEMA is an organization that represents 60,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers in Germany, and calls on the television channels, Web sites and radio stations pay a fee each time you play a song from their artists. Last year there were negotiations with the owners of YouTube and Google, to try to renew the contract which had expired on April 1. Google said in a statement they were "disappointed" by the decision of GEMA. "The more videos are uploaded to YouTube, more popular they become, Youtube can generate money to share with the holders of copyright representing composers," said the owner of Youtube. Because of this legal dispute, it is possible that many videos of Tokio Hotel will disappear from the video site, or maybe it only affects Germany.
