German rockers Tokio Hotel are on tour in Asia for the first time. They have encountered raucous fans, smash hit concerts and chart topping songs.
So why has Tom Kaulitz got involved in such nonsense?
“In Taiwan someone at the night market gave me the blue pills,” he told BILD. “I asked the salesman: Do I look as if I can’t raise the flag up the flagpole? He said no – and that I should try it anyway. So I popped one.”
Crazy! Doctors have warned against using Viagra as a ‘party drug’.
Back in the hotel, Tom got up close with a couple of girls.
“There I took another few pills. Probably too many. The next morning, my head was pounding and everything in front of my eyes was blurred.”
Tom’s twin brother Bill told BILD: “Why is he taking such sh*t? He is constantly horny anyway…
“My little brother took so many of the things that he was already seeing the girls in double.”
He doesn’t have any sympathy, however: “I was almost ready to call a doctor. But then I thought I should let him suffer."
But Bill said: “It was no longer fun, it was quite hard.”
It could have been a lot worse: Viagra abuse can in the worst case scenario lead to death, and doctor's warn against using it as a party drug.
It's certainly an episode the star will want to forget. Tom told BILD: "It lasted for the next 48 hours. Unfortunately there were situations where it was a bit inconvenient: the 60-year-old masseuse who I visited the next day did wonder a little bit".
